Button Glossary

This section lists all of the available buttons and gives brief definitions. For the more complex ones, there are links to the sections with additional details where the sections are completed. Check back or reach out to us at support@lineup.monster if you have suggestions for areas that could be more thoroughly explained.

  • grid_view
    • Customize the groups
    • This includes number and names of groups, along with display features like number of rows and whether or not to display the number of players in each group
    • Section in New User Quickstart

  • photo_library
    • Generate rostercard-style outputs for each group
    • This can also be used with a single group to create roster cards for a subset of your roster
  • data_table
    • Open the dialog to add group assignments to the roster
    • This allows saving groups more permanently and in a way that can be used for other features

  • label
    • Set player labels
    • Includes setting name/number layout and how unassigned players are sorted

  • refreshlabel
    • Force the labels to refresh
    • This is sometimes helpful if group assignment changes or orders are not automatically updated

    • Open a dialog box to get information about the relationship between the assigned groups and any roster column
  • delete
    • Clear the lineup

    • Open the dialog to sort players within groups (e.g., by last name, number, etc.)
  • shuffle*

    • Randomize all players on the roster into positions

  • splitscreen_vertical_add
    • Add columns
  • splitscreen_right
    • Remove columns
  • imagesearch_roller
    • Format columns
    • This includes renaming columns and changing their order

    • Open the custom columns dialog
    • As of now, all custom columns need to be created on the back end, this gives information on how to contact Lineup Monster to add columns you are interested in

    • Add Players
  • group_remove
    • Remove Players
  • download
    • Download the roster
  • upload
    • Open the complex roster upload dialog
    • This Pro-only feature allows you to upload a roster in a way that can add information to existing players, including adding columns and over-writing existing ones

    • Open the base roster upload
    • This is the best method to use for initial roster upload and for adding players
